Prof. Dr. Donald Bruce DINGWELL, Secretary General of the European Research Council (ERC) visited Taiwan 9-10th of July (2012) to promote the ERC funding schemes and encourage Taiwanese to submit their proposals to the ERC.
ERC於本(101)年7月10日公開徵求Starting Grants前瞻研究計畫書，將於本(101)年10月17日截止收件。
有意願之學者請自行依ERC網站上之申請程序直接向ERC提出申請
Starting Grants:
starters (2-7 years after PhD)
consolidators (7-12 years after Phd) up to 2 Mio Euros for 5 years
(Starting Grants補助最多5年期計畫，補助上限約新台幣8000萬元)
注意事項:
1. 不限領域，任何領域皆可提出申請(惟必須具備前瞻性)
2. 不限國籍，我國學者也可直接申請ERC Grant
3. 通過嚴格審查後獲補助之計畫主持人必須於計畫期程間50%以上之時間於歐洲(不限國家、不限機構，由計畫主持人自行接洽)進行研究(執行計畫)。
